Accessibility statement

Financial education is only useful if everyone can read it. We build this site to be navigable by keyboard, readable at high contrast, and comfortable in either theme.

Measures we take

  • Text and background colours are chosen for readable contrast in both dark and light themes
  • Every interactive element is reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
  • A skip-to-content link is provided at the start of every page
  • Images carry descriptive alternative text
  • Semantic HTML landmarks, headings and lists structure every page
  • One H1 per page with a logical heading hierarchy beneath it
  • Animations respect the operating system reduced-motion preference
  • Layouts reflow for small screens without horizontal scrolling

Theme preference

A dark and light theme toggle is available in the site header. Your choice is remembered in your browser and applies across every page.

Known limitations

Data tables in some educational articles scroll horizontally on very narrow screens. We consider this preferable to shrinking text below a comfortable reading size, but we continue to look for better patterns.

Standards

We aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We do not claim formal certification against that standard.

If any part of this site presents a barrier, we want to know. We treat accessibility reports with the same priority as factual corrections.
